Video Games

These are my top must play video games of all time. This list is mostly based on nostalgia and games that are most meaningful to me.

#1.	Final Fantasy VI (FF3 USA) This was my favorite RPG growing up. This game is full of amazing, likeable characters and a captivating story that spans two worlds. The pinacle of 16-bit RPGs. I loved this game so much that I took on the name 'Locke' as my web persona based on the 'treasure hunting' character from the game. I also became a contributor to the fan website FF3.com and ran the 'Ask Locke' column on that site for many years. This was also the first Final Fantasy game I ever beat and it was an enthralling experiencing from start to finish. This will always be one of my favorites.

#16.	King's Quest 6 One of my favorite adventure games. Also honorable mention to King's Quest 5 which I also rank very highly but I think King's Quest 6 is the better game.
#17.	Mario Kart 64 While Double Dash might be my favorite Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64 has the superior battle mode. Block Fort all the way! I play battle mode with my kids and we love it. Mario Kart 64 also has some of my favorite courses out of the entire series.

#19.	Timesplitters 2
#20.	Donkey Kong Country 2
#21.	TMNT 2: The Arcade Game (and other TMNT beat 'em up games!) Turtles in Time is arguably the better game but TMNT 2 has a special place in my heart at the first Turtles beat 'em up game that we played as kids. It made you feel like you were a freakin' Ninja Turtle.
